The Life Journey of Jeanne and Bill McMurray
|

Bill in Australia.
The Opera House in Sydney Harbour. To the right I'm
with a friend. The Koala's name is Douglas and he lived at
the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. CE Trip 1997.
Australia should be at the top of every traveler's list. |
This
little guy's name was Douglas and he was one of 26 koala's
at the Long Pine Koala and Game Sanctuary in Brisbane
Australia. |
|
Jeanne's
Beginning
Jeanne started with ITC tours
in New York in 1973. She was the tour manager for Air
France Vacations. She has been in travel for 35 years.
That road has taken her all over the world and exposed her
to a myriad of cultures and experiences. An
unapologetic New Yorker, Jeanne is shown on the deck of the
Carnival's Legend departing on a Caribbean Cruise leaving
New York. Jeanne was born in Queens and grew up in
Long Island, the 2nd child of a family of avid scuba divers.
Jeanne's Dad was one of the nation's first divers and was a
master instructor teaching diving at Long Island University. |

Bill's First overseas trip.
Queen Elizabeth to England
1958. Bill Mother took him to England to visit with her
family and meet his 40+ cousins, uncles and aunts. . It was
a life changing event, teaching him that parents should
travel with their children. It opens them up to the
world. . |
|

Bill In New Zealand
Just moments before Bill had
stepped out of a helicopter on the top of majestic Mt. Cook
on New Zealand's South Island. New Zealand is a combination
of the America's Rocky Mountains and the civility and
wonderful village life of England. It offers fantastic
opportunities for people who like adventure travel or those
who enjoy a fun, relaxed placed to explore. |
First Caribbean Cruise, Carla C,
1981
An old ship when we sailed on
her and small, It was a wonderful cruise with a great crew
and wonderful ports. Teaching Bill and Jeanne that shp is
not the only factor when looking at cruises. She was
small, but a warm lovely ship and experience. |
|

Bill In the Holyland
To the left is a bad-tempered
Israeli Donkey at a Biblical Research Center near Bethlehem.
Israel was an inspiration place and one of Bill and Jeanne's
favorite places. History every hundred yards and a place
which brings the Bible to life.
|

Bill, Jeanne and Liz in Turkey
Our daughters Liz and Lexi are
avid travelers. Liz has lived in Turkey and Argentina as
part of her studies. Lexi has traveled over Europe and
the Caribbean and with her husband, Dave, explored Ireland.

Bill
and His Rotary Exchange Tours
For the last 10 years Bill has
been taking Rotary Foreign Exchange Students on Western and
Eastern Trips in the USA (and last year we added
Disneyworld). This is a chance for Bill to show off the best
of America to wonderful young people from over 60 countries.
They are some of his favorite trips. Pictured above
are the kids who lived in South Central Ohio 2007-2008.
Bill also volunteers in RYE in Ohio. |

Bill in Moab
To the right is Bill in Arches
National Park in Utah. Bill has been to nearly every
National Park in the USA and they are always fun and always
wonderful. |
|

Bill In Egypt
Another case of animal cruelty
where Bill rides another bad-tempered Beast, in this case a
camel in Giza, on his way to the Great Pyramid. Egyptians
are warm people with great senses of humor. This is
another place everyone should have on their bucket list. . |

Bill In
China
China is an amazing place.
You think you know something about it, but it's totally
different from your expectations. |

Stuff You Should Read
Airline Seats & Cruises
The airlines and the cruise lines
have had long term love-hate relationship, which is now starting to
affect our clients. If you use the Cruise
Lines
air YOU will be responsible for getting your own seat assignments.
We do not get the tickets or flight schedule until shortly before
departure, so we CANNOT guarantee seat assignments which allow you sit
with you family. If this is important we recommend you purchase separate
air and leave a day earlier. The advantage of buying the air from the
Cruise line is you can fly the same day and it includes transfers to the
ship. Also make sure your frequent flyer numbers are in the record
when you check in.
Airline Ticketing Limitations
McMurray Travel Service is a full
service IATAN and ARC accredited ticketing agency. However we do
restrict ourselves in what tickets we do sell and reserve the right to
not sell certain areas of the world and certain airlines which we feel
are unstable and which place our clients and our business at a risk. We
reserve the right to not issue airline tickets to anyone we chose as
airline tickets are non-revenue items. When we do chose to issue tickets
we will charge a fee for that service. The fee is based on the amount of
time and effort required to issue the ticket. We do not issue tickets on
any airline voucher, coupon or any other offer tendered directly
by the airline. Go to the airline who issued the voucher to redeem
those. McMurray Travel Service or it's agents and contractors are
not responsible for airline delays or missed connections caused by
airline schedule changes or delays or medical conditions caused by
aircraft equipment. . It is the passenger's responsibility to
reconfirm his airline flights before departure. |
